WINNIPEG, MB: PrintPro Digital & Offset Printing, a leading provider of printing services in Winnipeg, recently purchased two new pieces of equipment. Given the increased requirement in short run print services, PrintPro decided to add new equipment to its production facility to meet this rising demand.

As the demand for printing services rises, the company has had to adjust its production capacity to keep up. The company is getting the following two pieces of new equipment installed at their production facility at 450 Provencher Blvd:

The Duplo Perfect Binder is used for manufacturing books. The exact type of binding is called “Perfect Binding”. This is a very common binding type found in a majority of paperback books. It features a single clamp binder that ensures a strong bind and quality results with each use. The machine was introduced to replace an existing older perfect binder and is capable of efficient short runs and long runs, with a cycle speed of 525 BPH (Books Per Hour). The end result of this machine will be to minimize delivery timelines and reduce the cost of self-published books.

The Versant 4100 Digital Press with Smart Automation from Xeroxis PrintPro’s second production press. This production press will complement the Xerox Iridesse Production Press that was installed in 2018. The purpose of this press is to help increase production capacity on the company’s printing side. It’s designed to automate tasks to speed up the production process, including image-to-media alignment, colour calibration, and uniformity. It’s compatible with a wide variety of media types, including glossy brochures, window decals, business cards, and coated and uncoated papers.

“With the addition of this equipment, we can increase our production capacity and make our services more widely available to our clients across Winnipeg and across Manitoba,” said Gaurav Bhatt, one of the owners of PrintPro. “We are always looking for ways to ensure all of our clients are satisfied. And with even more equipment, we can offer even faster turnaround times on projects.”
